Opened in 2008 at the beginning of the renaissance of Finnieston it has seen many come, and a few sadly go, but is now an institution in the most thriving food and drink spot in the city. With its Victorian tenement setting and old school décor it mixes Glasgow west end café with New York West Village take away.
The original piece, that special first child and the one that spawned an empire. All piece [pee-ss] Glasgow staff cut their teeth (but not their fingers) here and it's where most people experience their very first pastrami special...

Based in the Inovo building, at Itrez (Scotland's international Technology and Renewable Energy Zone) piece [pee-ss]: Glasgow in partnership with Scottish Enterprise have created a brand new retail unit within their flagship grade A office building. Scottish enterprise wanted a local firm to open within Inovo and piece [pee-ss]: Glasgow were proud to step forward
Piece@Inovo takes the express concept from piece [pee-ss]: Miller street and progresses it further. The bespoke display cabinets groan with huge New York- style creations that are portioned depending on customers requirements. Salads, pieces, patisserie and house soups are all available to mix and match and devour within the cafe space, on the terrace or back at the office.

Another great takeaway unit that hides a secret. piece [pee-ss]: Glasgow’s first foray into the city centre is a gritty, sexy but sleek unit combining red neon with our traditional metro tile and sleek new blackboards.
Alongside a selection of piece [pee-ss]: Classics in the bespoke piece section Miller Street also marks a new concept in taking-the-piece. Ready to go and fresh as a daisy (no daisies were harmed in the making of these pieces)
The menu is flexible, seasonal and varied and for those hurried workers in town the express element means less time to get a piece in your face.

piece [pee-ss]: Glasgow’s leap into the artistic world of in-house cafés. When Glasgow Sculpture Studios relocated the building’s owners saw the potential for a retail unit in this imposing and yet elegant building. Located on the Clyde Forth Canal, in yet another area of regeneration, is now a ‘hive of creativity’ (http://www.thewhiskybond.co.uk)
piece [pee-ss]: Glasgow was keen to continue our long term commitment and relationship with Glasgow’s internationally renowned arts scene and the small minimalist café space on the ground floor now serves pre packed pieces, for speed and convenience alongside our own roast coffee and tempting cakes. Perfect as well if you’re just out for a walk on the canal.
The menu in The Whisky Bond cafe changes weekly so please check the fridges
